48 month rule
You aren't eligible for the Venture X if you received its new cardmember bonus in the past 48 months. A bonus on the Venture or VentureOne doesn't affect it.
6 month rule
Capital One generally approves only one new card every six months, personal or business, so a recent Capital One approval can lead to a denial.
Card limit
Capital One has historically limited people to two of its own personal cards at a time (co-branded cards don't count), though recent reports are mixed.
